One of the great things about gardening is that it provides inexpensive food options.  Of course you may not think that when you first set up your garden!  There’s quite a bit of money to be shelled out for start up costs, but every year it should start to pay for itself.  One of the ways this can happen is to save and share seeds!  If you’ve got some great tomatoes, set aside some seeds for planting and give some to your friend too!  Especially pass them along if you’re hoping for the seeds for your friend’s wonderful cucumbers!
